Who we are

RegusAI ("we", "us") is a content creation tool for short-form video creators, operated from India and available at regusai.pro. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you remove it. Questions go to support@regusai.pro.

What we collect

Account information

Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We use these to identify your account and contact you about it.

Content you create

Prompts, scripts, video links you paste, and the outputs we generate for you. These are stored so your projects persist between sessions.

Data from connected YouTube accounts

If you connect YouTube, we request permission to upload videos on your behalf, read your channel and video list, and read your channel analytics. We use this only to publish content you explicitly ask us to publish, and to produce the channel audit you request. We do not read your private videos beyond the metadata those permissions return, and we never post without your action.

Data from connected Instagram accounts

If you connect an Instagram professional account, we request permission to read your profile and media, publish content you ask us to publish, read comments on your posts, and send messages. Comments and messages are read only to match the automatic reply rules you create, and the only messages we send are the replies you have written yourself. We do not read your inbox for any other purpose, and we do not message anyone who has not interacted with your account first.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of what you bought, when, and how much, because we are required to.

Usage data

Which tools you run and when, so we can enforce credit limits and find faults. We do not sell this or use it for advertising.

Access tokens for connected accounts

When you connect YouTube or Instagram, the platform gives us an access token. Those tokens are stored encrypted and are never sent to your browser or to any third party. They are used only by our servers, only to perform actions you have asked for. Disconnecting an account deletes the token immediately.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services needed to run the product:

• Supabase - database, authentication and file storage.
• Vercel - application hosting.
• Groq - AI text generation and transcription. Prompts and transcripts are sent here to produce your results.
• Google Cloud - video processing. Video is streamed through and not retained after your session.
• Magic Hour - voice generation, when you use a voice feature.
• Razorpay - payment processing.
• YouTube and Instagram - only when you publish or connect.

Google API Services and YouTube

RegusAI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and you can review Google's Privacy Policy. You can revoke RegusAI's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

How long we keep things

• Account and project data: until you delete your account.
• Access tokens: until you disconnect that account, or they expire.
• Records of automatic replies we sent: 12 months, so you can audit what went out.
• Payment records: as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (currently 8 years).
• Video streamed for processing: not retained after the session.

Your choices

You can disconnect any social account from the Connections page, which deletes its token straight away. You can delete your entire account and everything in it - see Data Deletion. You can ask us what we hold about you by emailing the address above.

Children

RegusAI is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
